Psoriasis & Psoriatic Arthritis

Systemic immune inflammation that may affect skin, nails, joints, and overall health.

Overview

Understand the diagnosis. Then widen the lens.

Psoriasis is a chronic immune-mediated condition that speeds skin-cell turnover and produces inflamed, scaly plaques. It is a systemic condition rather than only a surface problem.

Some people also develop psoriatic arthritis, which can cause joint pain, stiffness, swelling, and structural damage. Early rheumatologic assessment matters when joints are involved.

Common signs and symptoms

The presentation can be wider than one system.

Red or discolored scaly plaques
Itching, burning, or skin pain
Cracking or bleeding
Nail pitting or separation
Joint pain or swelling
Morning stiffness
Swollen fingers or toes
Fatigue
Symptoms overlap across many conditions. This list is educational and cannot confirm or exclude a diagnosis.

Factors we may explore

Not a checklist of causes. A map for better questions.

No single factor explains every case. These are clinical layers that may help organize the history and determine what deserves closer attention.

01

Skin and joint pattern

Distribution, nail changes, joint symptoms, imaging, and inflammatory markers help clarify the full presentation.

02

Immune and microbial history

Illness timing, throat infections, dental health, gut symptoms, and immune history may offer context.

03

Environmental burden

Smoking, alcohol, medications, work and home exposures, and metabolic health may be reviewed.

04

Rhythm and stress

Sleep disruption, shift work, stress physiology, and skin-barrier care can influence symptom burden.

The Aquarian approach

Data becomes useful when it is interpreted in context.

For complex or persistent symptoms, The Reclamation Experience brings your history, existing records, targeted testing, ART, biological data, and nervous-system patterns into one clinical synthesis.

Investigate

Review what has already been done and identify meaningful gaps.

Synthesize

Cross-read the layers instead of treating each result as a separate story.

Sequence

Clarify what deserves attention first, what can wait, and how to reassess.
